Kruger park in summer

For many foreign visitors seeking a true African adventure, the Kruger Park is on the top of the bucket list. With its wild, raw beauty and abundance of wildlife, the Kruger Park is one of my favorite places in th world!

  • – Sony Alpha A6000
    – Zoom lense
    – Smart phone
    – Powerbank
    – Headlamp or flashlight for walking around the camp at night

  • Summer in the Kruger Park can be very hot and humid with temperatures often soaring over 40°C. Generally, I would recommend comfortable, lightweight clothes you can wash and dry easily. Some essential clothing include:

    – Lightweight tops
    – 2 pairs of shorts
    – 1 pair of long-legged trousers
    – Sandals/flip flops
    – Closed shoes (eg. sneakers/boots)
    – Waterproof jacket for the occasional rainy day
    – Hat or baseball cap against the sun
    – Sunglasses

  • – Cleaning products for face, body and hair
    – Sunscreen with high SPF factor
    – Insect repellant

  • – Malaria medicine (as prescribed by your doctor)
    – First aid kit
    – Venom extractor
    – Anithistamines for allergies and insect stings/bites

  • Depending on the camp and the type of accomodation you book, your hut may not have a fully equiped kitchen. We packed the following utencils for our stay:

    – Coolbox
    – 1-2 plates p/person
    – Set of cutlery for each person
    – Coffee mug for each person
    – Cutting knife
    – Cutting mat
    – Basic spices (salt, pepper, paprika)

  • – Passport and identity documents
    – Copies of above mentioned documents
    – Printed copies of all reservations and bookings
    – International health insurance
    – Travel insurance

  • – Binoculars
    – Bird & wildlife books
    – Beach towel
